To our community,

SCM is taking the preemptive measure to protect staff, volunteers, and the public from the rapidly evolving exposure to COVID-19 by temporarily closing the Museum until further notice.

We appreciate your continued support during our closure by reading our emails, sharing our work, liking our Instagram and Facebook posts, subscribing to our YouTube channel, giving us input, sharing Twitter stories, and telling others about us!

What is a children's museum?

Children’s museums are places where children learn through play and exploration in environments designed just for them. Reflecting their diverse communities, children’s museums create playful, interactive learning experiences. In an increasingly complex world, children’s museums provide a place where all kids can learn through play with the caring adults in their lives. (Association of Children's Museum)
